Routine Management App is a full-stack productivity project built with React, Node.js, Express and MongoDB.
Users can create projects, add tasks and organize their work through a dashboard-based interface.
The project is currently being improved. Some existing bugs and missing functionality will be addressed before a future deployment.
My contribution
Full-stack implementation
- Building the React user interface
- Creating project and task components
- Developing Express API endpoints
- Connecting the application to MongoDB
- Implementing project creation and deletion
- Structuring frontend and backend folders
- Planning future workflow improvements
01 · The problem
Unstructured task lists make larger workflows difficult to follow
- Tasks may belong to different projects
- Users need a clear overview of active work
- Project information must remain organized
- Backend and frontend state must stay synchronized
- Productivity tools need simple interactions
02 · The solution
A project-based dashboard for task organization
- Project creation and deletion
- Task organization within projects
- Central productivity dashboard
- MongoDB data persistence
- Expandable structure for future features
Project Creation
Users can create separate projects for different areas of work.
Task Organization
Tasks can be structured within project-based workflows.
Project Deletion
Unused projects can be removed from the dashboard.
MongoDB Persistence
Project and task data is stored through a backend database.
REST API
The React frontend communicates with an Express backend.
Future Expansion
The structure supports future editing, analytics and drag-and-drop features.
